Theme of the Congress: MEETING WITH BERGAMO, ANCIENT WALLED TOWN
FRIDAY, MAY 9:
Arrival of the Members of the Congress.
Those who will land at Bergamo – Orio al Serio will be welcome by a hostess-interpreter and will find a shuttle service, private and free of charge, to reach their hotels.
BEGINNING OF THE CONGRESS

Meeting of the Lion Authorities, the Representatives and the Presidents of the Club with the Mayor of Bergamo, at the Palazzo Frizzoni, the Town Hall, in the Hall of the Mirrors. At the end, reserved van to the restaurant.

Welcome Dinner at the renowned Ristorante Al Pianone, on the hills of Bergamo.
Private buses will pick up the Members of the Congress from their respective hotels and transport them to the restaurant.
After dinner, there will be the presentation of the last entered Clubs (maximum 10 minutes each), the reports and any movies should be sent by March, 31 to cittamurate2014@discoverbergamo.it
Return to the hotels by the same buses.
SATURDAY MAY 10

The Members of the Congress will be accompanied from the hotels, by reserved buses,
to the Social Theatre, work site in the Upper Town.

Registration.
Opening Ceremony Greetings of the organizer Club and of the Lion and Civil Authorities Start of the works with the intervention of the first three speakers Coffee Break Interventions of the last two speakers Interventions of the participating clubs (only those previously registered ) Presentation of the book celebrating the 10 years of our Association Space dedicated to the Gubbio Host, next organizer of the Congress.

Free lunch.
There will be some partner restaurants close to the Theater with menus and prices set for the Congress .

For the members of the Board of Directors of the Association MEETING at the Locatelli Hall in via Arena in the Upper Town. Meeting point: the fountain of Piazza Vecchia, a few steps far from the Social Theatre.

For all other Members of the Congress: beginning of the guided tours to the Walls and to the most significant monuments of the Upper Town (estimated time: 2 hours).
Free time at your disposal.

Reserved buses will pick up the Members of the Congress from their respective hotels to get to the well-known starred restaurant “da Vittorio – alla Cantalupa”

Gala Dinner (formal dress).
Exchange of gifts and conclusive speeches.
Return to Bergamo by the same buses.
SUNDAY MAY 11

Reserved buses will pick up the Members of the Congress, at their respective hotels and at the established meeting points for a guided tour of the Workers’ Village of Crespi d’Adda, UNESCO World Heritage Site .

Lunch with wine tasting in Torre de’ Roveri at the farm “La Tordèla” of the Count Grumelli Pedrocca .
Return to Bergamo at 15,00 approximately
END OF THE CONGRESS
The shuttle buses will take the Members of the Congress back to the airport.

Please note the deadline of March 31, 2014 to send:
1) The application form to the Congress and the payment of the participation fees;
2) The hotel booking form;
3) Relations and videos (maximum 10 minutes in total) for the presentation of the last entered Clubs;
4) Relations and videos (maximum 10 minutes) for the interventions of the Clubs on the theme of the Congress, on Saturday morning.
